Another student using a KBT brailler graduates…

July 23, 2012 | 0 Comments

We recently received a wonderful letter from a Kenyan student that the KBT was lucky enough to sponsor. Thanks to the help from his brailler he has now graduated. Congratulations Martin!

“This is Martin Gitonga from Kenya, the one you were with at African braille center the day you were presenting new braillers to us. Its a bit long since then but am glad to tell you that the brailler you gave me is very effective to me as i don’t have to go borrowing braillers to do my work. I have all the time with it and I can do anything I want. The day we met I told you that I worked with Kenyatta University special needs department in the library, and though am working there, I had not graduated yet. It is my joy to now invite you to my graduation ceremony which will take place at Kenyatta University on 29th June 2012. I look forward to hearing from you!”
